GeoPlay Golf is the first game to take advantage of two of the iPhone’s most powerful features: the accelerometer and the GPS. Bridging the gap between the real and virtual worlds, not only can you swing your iPhone like a golf club and the accelerometer will judge whether you hit your ball accurately or inaccurately and with how much power, you can also track your shot using the the GPS and then walk to the exact location of where your virtual ball stopped.
Plot your course in your neighborhood, favorite park or on your walk to school or work—wherever you can receive a GPS signal. Not only is it a blast to play, but GeoPlay Golf is an ideal way to get outside and get some exercise. And if you’re on a bus or it’s raining outside, just switch off GPS and Swing modes and play it like a traditional iPhone golf game.
With 15 environments to choose from and many others in development, you’ll be able to create your custom course using traditional fairways and greens or fantasy courses including Arctic fields, construction sites, farm yards, and even moonscapes.
So get the game, get outside, get some exercise, and also get lots of practice to prepare yourself for our upcoming GeoPlay Golf tournaments.
